Scary & Sweet 2024 Challenge

October tends to be a busy month when it comes to art challenges on Instagram and this year, I decided to participate in the Scary & Sweet challenge. I’m not the biggest fan of Halloween but wanted to incorporate some more spooky themed designs in my portfolio and loved the variety of prompts in this challenge.
For this particular challenge, I wanted to focus on creating repeat patterns and choose to work with a limited colour palette of mostly purple and orange with some pops of turquoise/aqua and lime green.
I’m very proud to say that I successfully completed all 10 prompts from the challenge. It took me a couple of days to recuperate after completing everything but here is a recap of what I created for each prompt.
